The Story
This is a really great all-in-one book of mock test questions designed to help you practice your kanji, vocabulary, and grammar skills and understand where they need to be to pass the JLPT N4 test.
The book is structured to be studied over a 20-day period of time – 4 weeks, with weekends off! Each day you do 4 pages of questions for 2 of the 4 sections of the test — kanji, vocabulary — giving you comprehensive training to be ready for that important test.
The grammar section of the book has lots of information and examples of different grammatical structures — with English and Vietnamese translations — before giving you some exercises to practice your understanding of them. This means you aren’t totally thrown into the deep end with this book, and it prepares you for the test in a comfortable way.
The vocabulary questions also give you a helping hand, in that they are organized by topic, so there is a fundamental contextual structure to them, so you aren’t too overwhelmed.
There is a review test in the back of the book putting all of the 3 parts together, and helping you get an understanding about how you might fare in real test settings.
