About Bret Mayer

Bret Mayer is an American based in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, known to be the first person from a non-kanji-used country to pass the first-grade certificate in Kanji Kentei (Japan Kanji Aptitude Test). He now plays an active part as a Kanji educationist certified by Ritsumeikan University.
